My Gran,

A while ago now, I went out and did a shoot in Winsford, I alsopaid my lovely gran a visit at the same time and took this portrait of her..

I adore my Gran, and I love this photograph of her. Unedited.
I like the way its framed because the surroundings tell you more about her than she herself does really. My Gran is a very secretive woman, she keeps herself to herself and doesn't tell you anything, but expects you to tell her everything.
The picture of my Grandad on the wall adds to this photo in my opinion, I never knew him, that photo is all I have ever seen of him on a regular basis. Obviously I have seen other photos but none quite like that. I have heard plenty of stories too, and trust me, that picture combined with those stories, you wouldn't think it possible.

Anyway, enough of that. I have a whole series of stuff lined up over the summer. I have two portrait sessions booked. TWO! I don't know how I've managed it, but somehow I have and I'm chuffed to pieces about it. I really am.
Plus I have a few more odds and ends lined up for magazine work and I am currently trying to get some work experience with the local paper, just got to keep my fingers crossed for that.
Bearing that in mind, hopefully I should soon be updating this blog more often.
